ETERNAL REPUBLIC

The Constitution is a sacred document of a nation.  Indian Constitution is a written document prepared by legal luminaires, who were stalwarts of our freedom movement.  They studied various constitutions of the world and incorporated in our constitution valuable information suitable for our country.  As it was adopted on 26th November, 1949, that day was declaredas a Constitution day but, officially it came into force on January 26, 1950.The first president of India DrBapuRajendra Prasad unfurled the national flag.

The members of the first parliament were stalwarts of constitutional democracy and its values viz., serenity, secularism, liberty, equality, fraternity, etc., both in letter and spirit.  They laid a very strong foundation for democratic republic. The values created are not only to maintain the spirit of the Constitution but also to strengthen the democratic set up. The entire world, acknowledged the manner the country introduced the universal franchise. The members established the concept of moving forward with the principle of healthy interaction between ruling party and opposition party with mutual respect and cooperation.  They moved together with compromise, confidence and courage.

It is the responsibility of every citizen to protect, promote and preserve   the values embedded in our sacred Constitution.
